Department of Health guidance on doctors with limited leave to remain

Following the outcome of the recent Judicial Review there were concerns about its implications for the current recruitment for Specialty Training.
The Department of Health announced on Friday 26 February that these immigration rules will be held in abeyance for Round 1. This means that HSMP holders should be considered in Category 1, which is equivalent to UK and EEA applicants.
Please note that the Department of Health will be issuing separate guidance for Round 2 of recruitment.
