The Judicial Review brought by BAPIO against the Department of Health was heard on 7 and 8 December and BMA staff observed for much of the hearing. A written judgement is expected before Christmas on some, but not necessarily all, of the points raised by BAPIO. Even after the judge's ruling, there is likely to be a further process to consider the implications of the ruling, and if appropriate, potential remedies.
